The filming team also visited the Hungarian village Bugacz, during the Khurultai of Turkic peoples. For whole three days, the people speak in all the dialects of Turkic language, and it is possible to see with one’s own eyes, just how similar the cultures of various countries are. The Kurultai is very similar to Tatar sabantui, which is no less expansive and cheerful. Many Turkic languages have the expression “touching heaven with one’s head”, expressing the highest possible degree of joy.

The famous Trojan War was fought between the Greeks and Trojans with their allies. Troy was eventually laid in ruins after 10 years of fighting with the Greeks, traditionally dated from around 1194 to 1184 BC, and is historically referred to as the Fall of Troy.

Where did the Swedes come from?
There is strong evidence that Swedish predecessors were migratory Thracians, an aggressive refugee “boat-people” who first came from the ancient city of Troy. Located in northwest Asia Minor (present-day northwest Turkey), the ruins of Troy were discovered in 1870.In the period beginning about 2500 BC, Troy was populated by an “invasion of peoples on the sea” according to the Egyptians. These people were called Thracians by the Greeks,...

As these peoples were founding states in the area between Mongolia and Transoxiana, they came into contact with Muslims, and most gradually adopted Islam. The sources of the present and even of the future are hidden in the depths of the past, and the ancient Turks are the ancestors of many of the nations of Russia. Today, these two mighty ethnic masses, Turkic and Slavic, live side by side, mutually mixing. It is one of the basic ethnographic processes in contemporary Eurasia. That is the reason why the knowledge of these two cultures about each other mutually enrich them and facilitate mutual comprehension.

According to Turkic beliefs, three divine powers - Heaven, earth and People - appeared at the same time, and the divine nature of the last lies in the fact that people stand on the earth with their feet, and reach heaven with their heads. The moment of highest joy in the Hungarian Kurultai was the ancient Turkic ritual of brotherhood, in which participated all the representatives of practically every Turkic country. These images appeared in several of the films

Cant help but notice the similarities between irish dancing and turkish dancing. They say that the people that brought cattle, horses and sheep to Ireland came from what is now modern day Turkey. Interesting.

Yes, the people of Ireland were in a very difficult situation while fighting the disease. I heard that aid was sent from Turkey to Drogheda port and that the crescent and star symbol on the flag of Drogheda Football Club is from the Turkish flag.

More than one third of these are ethnic Turks of Turkey, dwelling predominantly in Turkey proper and formerly Ottoman-dominated areas of Eastern Europe and West Asia; as well as in Western Europe, Australiaand the Americas as a result of immigration. The remainder of the Turkic people are concentrated in Central Asia, Russia, the Caucasus, China, northern Iraq and northern andnorthwestern Iran.

The Pontic Greeks also known as Pontian Greeks (Greek: Πόντιοι, Ελληνοπόντιοι, Póntioi, Ellinopóntioi; Turkish: Pontus Rumları, Karadeniz Rumlari) are an ethnically Greek[1][2] group who traditionally lived in the region of Pontus, on the shores of Turkey's Black Sea and in the Pontic Alps, in northeastern Anatolia and the former Russian Caucasus province of Kars, and also in Georgia.
